Q: WHAT IS REQUIRED TO BOOK?

A: The Session Retainer of $500 is required at the time of booking to secure your date with both: the photographer and the makeup artist.

Q: WHEN SHOULD I BOOK MY SESSION AND CAN I GET IN NEXT WEEK?

A: Our schedule books up about 6-8 months in advance. This means it is unlikely we will have availability last minute. We always encourage our clients to book a year in advance if they can. Yes, a year seems like a long time; however, booking a year in advance gives you more options for choosing a date that aligns with your timeline of receiving products as well as setting up a pre payment plan for your convenience.

Q: DO YOU HAVE A STUDIO OR DO WE HAVE TO BOOK A HOTEL?

A: Yes, we have a private boudoir studio where your session will take place. Our beautiful decorated boudoir studio is located in Clarksburg, MD. However, we also offer on location sessions ranging from 5 starts hotels, airbnbs, boats, lakes, outdoors, or other location we many decide.

Q: WHAT IF I'M NOT COMFORTABLE BEING PHOTOGRAPHED?

A: We understand that being in front of the camera can be nerve-wracking, especially if you’re not used to it. That’s why we’ve created a luxurious and relaxing atmosphere to help you feel comfortable and at ease. We’ll guide you through the session and provide you with styling guidance, hair and makeup to make you feel your best. Our experienced photographers will work with you to create a comfortable and safe environment, and we’ll never ask you to do anything that makes you uncomfortable.

Q: I AM NOT COMFORTABLE WITH MY IMAGES BEING SHARED. CAN I KEEP THEM PRIVATE?

A: We care about our clients privacy and want to ensure your privacy concerns are addressed immediately, if there are any. The answer to your question is No, we do not require clients share their images. We understand that these images are intimate and you may not feel comfortable having them online. Rest assured, we only share images with the client's explicit permission. You have complete control over which, if any, photos are shared.

Q: WHEN DO I PAY FOR MY PRODUCTS?

A: Clients are required to pay in full during the image review unless a pre-payment plan was arranged before the session. In that case, full payment must be completed at least 30 days prior to the session. No images or products are finalized, ordered or delivered without full payment was made.

Q: DO YOU OFFER PAYMENT PLANS?

A: Yes, we offer payment plans through PayPal Credit, Affirm, and AfterPay. Our most popular option is our pre-payment in-house. You can schedule a FREE consultation HERE to discuss the options available.

Q: CAN I JUST PURCHASE DIGITAL IMAGES?

A:  Our studio specializes in creating custom luxury designer albums and heirloom boxes, with optional add-ons like wall art and other small products. Each client's album is handmade with the finest Italian leather and other beautiful hand-picked materials that are high quality. You design your album from front to back, making it truly unique- there will never be an album or wall art like yours. It's a one of a kind piece of art.  

We also offer matching digital galleries for your products and our an exclusive Platinum Collection, which includes ALL your digital images along with premium products and unique add-ons.  So you can still have the best of both worlds!

Q: AM I ALLOWED TO BRING A FRIEND OR MY SPOUSE TO MY BOUDOIR PHOTO SHOOT?

A: It depends. As a rule of thumb we do not allow guest to be present during your day with us. We want the focus of the day to remain on you, and helping you achieve the dreamy images you hired us to create. It is always our goal to keep it a positive and stress-free environment with no worry or additional pressure.

However, upon talking to the photographer first and receiving confirmation, you may be allowed to bring a good friend who will hype you up and help empower you.  No children, spouses, or significant others are permitted to be at our studio. A couple sessions is the only time we allow a spouse/significant other to attend a session.

Q: HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET MY PRODUCTS?

A: All of our products are made to order and are handmade. The turnaround time frame for products is generally 6-12 weeks depending on the product.

Q: DO YOU OFFER RETOUCHING?

A: We take pride in our attention to detail and our ability to create beautiful, flattering portraits. All of our portraits are enhanced by our artists to finish your products. Over and above the industry standard of retouching; our artists are digitally painting each portrait to give them the fine art look that AM BOUDOIR is known for.

We’ll work with you to make sure that the artistry is consistent with your preferences and that you’re happy with the result.

Q: WHAT TYPE OF PAYMENTS ARE ACCEPTED?

A: We accept cash, digital transfers,  and most major credit/debit cards. No checks. No post session payment plans.
